I love this photo for the experience I had chatting with this sweet man before the shot. He has one of the most genuine and kind faces. I feel that film allows for a really unique experience.”

Korean Ceremony

Helios Images sent us these photographs of a family member only, Korean ceremony. The event was utterly traditional from the tea pouring to the brides dress, or “hanbok”, which was entirely handmade.

Alice in Wonderland

Isaiah Haynes is new to film photography, something you would never suspect from these shots. A typically digital photographer, Haynes shares that he “ was drawn to film because of the thought that goes into every shot, and the organic nature of film.”

Check out this cutie shot by Matt Haines! Film photography was just a hobby of Matt’s long before it ever became a career. “I had a camera problem…at one point I owned over 40 working cameras. My hobby was something of an obsession,” says Matt. “I still love film, and there’s something about an aging, crusty camera that still gives me a little thrill.” Check out his blog here for more great work.
